Learn about the In/Out device! The In/Out Device v4.0 is different in form from the previous In/Out Device generations.
For In/Out v3.0, please visit this page instead.
The device has a power button on the right. The battery is internal and there is no screen as the device is monitored and operated by your smartphone with an Android or iOS App.
The L-attachment accessory to attach the Net Device v4.0 to the net post of a tennis court should include a small silicone gasket as shown on the pictures below. They are provided with the accessory. Those silicone gaskets are very important and should be kept on the accessory because they will allow you to properly unscrew the Net Device.
Attach to the green L-attachment, the side of the band that has only one hole. Screw the device to the L-attachment. The device will continue to screw forever so that you can adjust the angle of the device on the net post.
To unscrew the device, you don't need to force but you need to snap and rotate the device in the counter-clockwise direction. See this video:
Important Tip: When installing on court, it's recommended to attach the L-Attachment without the device on the net post first, before screwing the device.
Important Tip: When uninstalling from the net post, it's recommended to unstrap and detach the L-Attachment and the device together. Then unscrew the device as explained above. See the page "On court".
The 4 feet are optional. They can be put to the L-attachment in rare situation where the net cord spool is outside of the net post as shown in the following picture:
