Optimized low-level kernel settings improves the running time experience (for a given battery level).
Training sessions now provides the instantaneous TTR (True Tennis Rating) in the rating scale of the language country.

New features:

The ball is now approximated by an ellipse instead of a rectangle, and can be re-calculated for close calls providing better accuracy (power user mode required).
zoom of the ball bounce is recentered even if the ball was not in the middle of the screen image.
New training zones have been added.
Percentages of training zones are presented with different colors.
Training zones "in" data is uploaded to the cloud and is presented in the summary section.

Vertical bounces done around a player are discarded and are not signaled.
Balls going into the net are discarded and are not signaled when they come back to the player.
The ball detection uses an updated and improved auto-threshold algorithm which better handles difficult light conditions (including indoor).
Stats sessions are periodically saved (every 10 shots), so they can be accessed and uploaded even after a hard shutdown.
Broken videos are now automatically and instantaneously repaired.

Icons on the home screen reflects recording or streaming status.
The video thumbnail is now generated as soon as the video finishes.

New features:

The Line Call screen indicates if this is practice or match mode. A long press on the label toggles between the two modes without exiting the Line Call screen.
If two devices are paired, the remote ball bounce image can be viewed from the other device.
If two devices are paired, the other device gets the same settings (match/practice, signal...)
In power user mode, it's possible to swap players on the Line Call screen for the stats.

Fixed bugs:

If two devices are paired, and one device is missing the ball, it's getting the ball speed of the other device.
A microSD card which has been formatted in the Tools screen can be read on Mac computers.
With Firefox, the download link on each video in the web interface really downloads the video and doesn't play it.
Video record options are saved across reboot.
Serves in match mode are better detected.
Right-click on the pages of the web interface are allowed.

Auto-recalibration is fixed and enabled by default.
Match mode is working properly.

New features:

Selecting 2.4GHz is now permanent across reboot. But it's still recommended to stay in 5GHz.
The sound upon touch press is enabled as soon as audio is enabled.

Fixed bugs:

Ball detection is much better on hard-thru and clay courts.
Ball detection in serve training mode is much better. Same detection applies for the serve of a rally in match mode.
In rare occasion of very challenging light conditions, the light was flickering. This is improved.
Slow motion recording is in color.

Beta2 2018-04-04

Critical bugs or important new features:

Ball recognition is improved.
Ball accuracy is improved.
Match single mode is enabled. It's recommended to have two devices on each net post.
An auto-recalibration can be triggered by a ball in the net during line calling (this needs to be enabled in the power user screen, still experimental).

New features:

A single press of the power button turns off the screen. A long press bring the shutdown screen.
A first setup screen is added in device setup to configure spoken language and default unit.
A long press in mirroring in the Companion App or in the web interface mirror.html page mimics a long click.
A better mirroring protocol is used for the Android smart watch application.
The video can be stored or streamed for each half court only.
The video can be recorded in slow motion (120fps) for one half court (it will be improved in next firmware upgrade).
A record options screen is available with a long press on the record button of the home screen.

Fixed bugs:

Streaming is fixed.
Court detection score is fixed in csv file output.
Theshold duration of a long touch press is reduced from 1 second to 250ms.

New features:

When court is found, a mark (1 to 5 stars) is computed for each half court.

http://10.10.10.1/about.html presents more information about the player of the In/Out Wi-Fi name.
It's possible to use http://anything-you-want to access the web interface as long as the device is connected to In/Out.
Recording video now consumes less memory and less power.
The serial number of the device is added to the raw data in csv format.

Fixed bug when recording is stopped because of size limitation (4GB on FAT32 or storage capacity).

Setting time to a future date and then setting it to present freezes the user interface.

Critical bug or important new feature:

Number of false positive balls (ball detected but it's not a ball) is considerably reduced.

New features:

Court detection has been improved again in difficult light conditions.
Serve training modes are enabled.
Light and/or sound for only close call is possible (in the custom mode of Signal).
Repairing a video is possible if the video is broken (after a hard shutdown during record for instance).
The power user screen has been re-arranged.

Fixed bugs:

Video record and replay is more reliable.
Dead pixels in the camera are correctly interpolated after three seconds of videos in "record only" mode.
Kernel debug information doesn't appear on HDMI output any more.
Audio is sent through the HDMI output.

In the pair screen, it's possible to unpair two paired devices.
